Q. Will you buy my used equipment?
A. Sometimes. Many items are regulated as ‘single-patient use only’ and cannot be reused. Some items are durable and may be reused. Metro Medical will consider purchasing used equipment on individual basis. Call us for details.
Q. Can you bill my health insurance, workers comp, Medicare, etc.
A. Metro Medical Homecare may be able to bill your insurance company for items/supplies. Please call our office for details on what items may be covered and the criteria that needs to be met.
Q. Do you repair medical equipment?
A. Metro Medical Homecare can repair items located in our service area only. Pricing and details need to be discussed with our business office. You can call us at 952-854-3603 for details.
Q. Do I need a prescription for my purchase?
A. Usually, no. Most items available from Metro Medical Homecare do not require a prescription. Please contact our office for details. If an insurance company is going to be a payer, a prescription will be needed.
Q. Do you rent equipment?
A. Yes, we rent many items including; hospital beds, scooters, lift chairs, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, bath equipment, raised toilet seats, walkers, rollators and more.
